This policy explains what information dassoft.in collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what you send us and what our host logs to run the site. We don’t track you.

2.What this policy covers
This policy covers the website at dassoft.in. Our products may collect different information; each has its own privacy notice that applies in addition to this one. For Connekt, see the Connekt privacy policy.
3.Information we collect
Messages you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, the company name if you give one, and the content of your message.
Technical logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records basic information about each request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This typically includes your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request.
Cookies and analytics. This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and does not load third-party tracking scripts, and it does not store anything in your browser.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, sensitive personal information.
4.How we use information
- To read and reply to messages you send us.
- To operate, maintain and secure the website.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
6.How long we keep information
We keep messages for as long as we need them to respond and to follow up on the same conversation, and then delete them. Retention period: up to 12 months after the conversation ends.
Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider according to its own retention settings.
7.How we protect information
The website is served only over HTTPS, and access to messages is limited to the people who need it to reply. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
8.Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us at hello@dassoft.in. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under data protection law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
9.Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
10.Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change, for example when we add a product or a new service provider. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
